I love the heart of a child

This past Sunday we had a change of pace and played some kickball. Great tiem, great fun. We had some 6th graders who learned that not winning can be fun and some 1st graders were shown some grace by the older kids. This is a picture of Dalton Hill encouraging Kenton Huff. See the girls handily beat the boys (with some help from the leaders) and Dalton here felt the need to pat Kenton of the back and encourage him. I love the heart of a child. Dalton had been injured during the game (a large 6th grader fell on his head *ouch*), but still in a daze, he seeks out a discouraged Kenton and gives him the old "we'll get 'em next time".

I love my life.

how many times have we been the one to get the promise, "we'll get em next time" in a hockey dressing room in 8th Hussars arena in sussex? i think this photo might have some subconscious aspects for you! ;)
